Hope KL Uni Camp

The past 3 days was spent with Joshua and the University group in Hope Kuala Lumpur. It was a fulfilling time as I watched Joshua soared to greater heights in helping and serving the university students there.

It was also a fun time of networking with the next generation of leaders for me. Needless to say, we ate a lot along the way too.

It was positioned to be a boot camp for the students. There were plenty of physical activities coupled with the usual teaching and praise & worship. They even had a countdown as Malaysia celebrated their 51st year of independence. There was a flag raising ceremony as they belted out their national anthem in full voice.

It is indeed wonderful to serve Jesus in this global movement.

hi ps,
is it possible that a christ follower will be led to do something that god want him to do but he or she will only knows this after the event happened?

also, is it possible that every steps he or she take somehow is just for him is just a random steps that he take but yet after he think back, it seems like it is perfectly done. he don't even planned it in his mind and he just proceed his daily life. could it be led by spirit or actually something else?

Hi Jiayin, I am presently reading through the books written by Blackaby. I find them insightful. Do check them out!

Wow.. these are questions that need more time to be able to give you a more complete answer. I know that some adults group is running a WFL class knowing God's will. It will probably be useful for you.

Hi Pastor Jeff..i have been attending Hope church service for abt 4 years already : )

This is unrelated to your post but can i just feedback something abt church Singapore services.
Recently, i brough my mum to attend the 11.30am service on Sunday.

She is very interested to go and she is quite a open minded person, however the praise and worship sessions are just too loud.
Even i have been feeling this for some time already.

I feel that the sound systems might not be good enough.
Maybe there's a way to feedback to the sound system people.

Maybe things like a better sub-woofer system might be needed, to direct and absorb the sounds better. (I am just being a layman here)
I feel that this is extremely important if we are outreaching to outside people form all age ranges.

thanks: )

Thanks Tricia!

Thanks June for your note. Appreciate the feedabck greatly :)We will have to look into this.

However, do note that every service has a traget group and the service is tuned accordingly to meet the needs to the group.

Hi Ps Jeff,

First of all, happy belated birthday!!!

Thanks for coming to the camp. You and bro Joshua have been a blessing to a lot of us who were there... In fact, you are one of the selling points when we were trying to promote our student camp to our visitors... hehe...

"Ps Jeff is coming all the way from Hope Singapore to share the Word of God to us... He is so funny and hillarious the way he delivers the message... so u MUST join us!!!!!" Just kidding... lol

But God has indeed spoken to many of us through the teachings and preaching. My unit had one new convert last Sunday whom has joined us for the first time at the student camp... Praise God for that. ;)
