EPL Predictions

I checked the soccerent.com this morning and found out that Man U has once again drawn their second match. To make matter worse, Ronaldo got sent off. With Rooney out for at least 2 months, Man U seems to be getting into a bit of a challenge only two weeks into the new season. One brother emailed me this morning to ask me to fast and pray more for the team.

Spurs got off to an even worse start. They had lost both of their opening two games. But the season has just begun and it is still anyone’s game.

Anyhow, I was thinking of checking out the “prophetic” power among us. I will give treats to the first 3 persons who got the top 4 teams of this season in the right order. It may not be a meal at “My Humble House” (where the price is certainly not humble at all!) but it should be a rather decent meal. We can then walk and talk through the season together.

If you are from overseas, I will treat you when I see you in some conferences or when I visit your country.

This is my take…

1. Manchester United

2. Chelsea

3. Liverpool

4. Arsenal

What’s yours?

Hi Adrian, i can certainly tell who you are from your photo! Yes, i really hope Man U wins as well. No worries, if you are right, we will have a good meal together!

I can tell that the rest are all pool fans.

JX, I hope your head wins over your heart! Our hearts are often times deceitful!

Jer 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure.

But i agree that spurs has a good chance of finsihing in the top 4.

This is my take based on leadership and current quality of the team....

1. Man U
The old gaffer still marches on with his hunger and tenacity. And the team has good depth with old and new. Only threat is injuries.

2. Liverpool
Rafa is gaining more experience with the EPL and after the passed couple of dismayal seasons, this one should be better for him with acquired wisdom. And the team is growing with him.

3. Arsenal
Quiet pre-season but they will emerge stronger than last year's despite Thiery's departure. Mr Wenger still has the soccer brains to rally his team. Current team is young and hungry to prove themselves on top flight.

4. Chelsea
Jose changing strategy in tactics might backfire and his team of high-paid footballers divide themselves with jealousy.

Being a Liverpool fan, i sure hope that they'll get the title this year (after the long 17 years of wait); especially with additions like Torres, Benayoun, Voronin and Babel (which adds on to the width of the attack).

But.... i think this year will be Chel$ea's year.

sorry, gonna go out of point for awhile. ask you guys smth:

you've all heard of the sermon of the mount, where Jesus preached about the beatitudes, and about life right? do not worry, salt and light, do not judge others etc.. when he came down the mountain side, he met a leper,

which was another famous incident, where we all know that the leper broke a major moses' law to meet Jesus and declared that if He was willing, He could make him clean. And Jesus said He was willing, and even gave him a personal touch on top of the healing that he needed.

we've heard sermons teaching the love of Jesus in this story, where he declared that He was always willing to heal, and even going the extra mile to give a personal touch to the leper.

but do you all know why he told the leper, not to tell this to anyone, but to go show himself to the head priest? =)

haha, nono, that website isn't neccesary. i just want to know what do you all think.

why did Jesus specifically ask the ex-leper to go find the head priest, instead of doing what comes naturally, which is to tell everyone that he's cured?

There are indeed many football fans reading this blog. I still hope Man U will win.

Although I did not watch the games, it does not take an expert to know that we are having problems in the goal scoring department. With only 1 goal to show for 3 games is quite sad :(

One of the major reason why we won last season was because we are scoring goals left, right and centre.

We were averaging around 3-4 goals per game (esp games at Old Trafford). Anyhow, the season is still young... we'll see...
