Corporate Prayer Meeting

Thanks for being there to pray along with the rest of the church family. I was really blessed to sense your energy and earnestness to seek God together.

From my estimation, more than 2000 of us were there at Suntec Convention Hall. I was also very encouraged by our Mandarin church participation. It was indeed a wonderful family time for our whole church.

We can have confidence from God that many things have already been achieved in spiritual realms. It will become a reality in His perfect timing!

1 John 5:14-15
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

Thus far, I have received quite a few good feedbacks of how we can do it even better for the future. Please let me know what was good and more importantly, how we can do even better for this earth-shaking and life-changing meeting.

We will note all your feedback and do our best to implement them when we can and where we deem most effective.

Many thanks in advance.

Aye-men, Ps Jeff! :) just to share that God specifically confirmed a word that He spoke to me, through a prayer that you were praying on the stage for the church. About living holy lives. Thanks Ps Jeff! :) and thank God for you!

Great to hear that Yeu Ann. Wonderful to hear from God :)

Sorry that I forgot the ITE group. I did not specifically make mention of ITE as I lumped it under Poly.

Communion is a possible idea. Thanks for the feedback. More please...

Can we have a prayer list ?

So we know what exactly to pray for under each category.

Can bring the list back home and continue praying in our own QT too.

Like what we can pray for each congregation, what can we pray for our senior pastors, missions, church goals, upcoming events, prayer requests-healing etc ...

Can we not just have a prayer list but a prayer monitoring list to chart the progress/status of our prayers? e.g. whether prayer answered, not answered, or answered in a different way, to pray more, to forget it etc.

If we really expect an outcome to our prayers, we should put it down in writing and monitor it closely. Am I not right?

hi annony, it is a wonderful idea. We want to indeed know if our prayers are effective or not.

I have spoken about this before. We can start with the CG level first. It would not be easy to administer this at the church level.

Dear Ps Jeff, just a little note to say really thanks for making yourself so available for inputs, suggestions and ideas via your blog... and for responding to all our comments, even tho it's a short comment. It's something very small, but personally it touches me very much, 'cos i think you must be very busy everyday haha. Thanks so much, dear brother, for showing us the love of Christ through this way, and for your example of open-hearted love. =)

hi annoy-nymous, yup, agree with Ps Jeff's idea - doing it at CG level is easier. Just to share from the trenches, I'm doing it for my CG already... it's not easy haha to actually do the list, esp since i'm a habitual procrastinator.

But God has been teaching me to grow this area of faithfulness in my life... so want to encourage you, bro/sis, to try this idea as well at CG level too... then if it works for you, then can raise it to unit level and higher? :)

just my ten-cents' worth...
