Mourinho For Manchester United

Lately, I had been entertaining a dirty thought in my mind and I was afraid that I would be found out. Then I discovered that I wasn’t the only one who was clinging on to the thought.

After Jose Mourinho left the Russian Oil Field, I was secretly entertaining the thought that it would be a wonderful thing to have him as the next Man U manager. After all, there are not many people who have enough soccer acumen and ego big enough to match that of Sir Alex Ferguson.

We may hate Mourinho but we cannot deny that he is good at what he does! Just look at what he had done at Chelsea. A group of star players may not make a winning team. It takes a good leader to gel them together into a trophy winning unit!

Moreover, Mourinho did state that “he’s in love with English soccer and will surely be back one day.”

Carlos Queiroz may be a good number 2 but I have doubts of his ability to fit into Ferguson’s shoes. Queiroz had a stint at Real Madrid and it did not turn up too well. But full credit must be given to him for signing fellow Portuguese Ronaldo. This is his finest contribution to United till date.

So, if I would have my way, Mourinho would be United’s manager for the next season. Sir Alex would complete his amazing run with Man United with a Treble!

Please have your say. I will compile them all and send to alexferguson@gmail.com!

Jose Mourinho

Ferguson & Queiroz

The fact that both have admiration for one another.. not sure if you have seen the exchanges between the 2 gaffes before the Community Shield during the pre-season. They seem to share the same pedigree...

Mourinho for Man United is not just good for the club but for English football...

Mourinho should be coming to Spurs. Man U already has enough power in Sir AF. If Mourihno comes to Spurs, then we will really have a compeition for the top 5 teams (Arsenal, Man U, Pool, Chelsea & Spurs). However, I am not sure if Chelsea can be in the top 5 without Mourihno! LCK

I'm guessing that given the bad mood at Chelsea about M being sent off (I think... :P) by Abramovich, and the rather unpromising performance so far by Grant... perhaps the fans'll be baying for Grant's blood soon... :P So maybe M may return in about half a year... (oh this is not a prophecy haha... ;) )

LCK: i doubt Chelsea'll be doing well anytime now... M was instrumental in driving the team to success, and given the players' loyalty to their ex-manager, and their disdain for their new coach... seems that morale will be down for a pretty long while. :P
